White House Decries 'Democrat Fabrication' as More Epstein Estate Images Disclosed

House Democrats have published a new tranche of what they termed "alarming" pictures from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The shamed investor was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking crimes.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Among the notable figures seen in the first release are celebrities featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

Administration Statement

The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the pictures for electoral motives and to "try and create a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative said, maintaining that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by frequently urging transparency, disclosing reams of records, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The photographs were released lacking captions, but according to a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's links with affluent people.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a comment.

The disclosure of these materials coincides with the House panel continuing its probe into the affair.
