The Latest Addition: A Frog-Shaped Tablet Frightens the Toys In the teaser shows the young girl — who received the toy collection when he left for college — receiving a latest plaything, one that terrifies the familiar toy group. Bonnie gets her initial digital gadget, and she is excited about it. Presumably, the frog-shaped tablet will come to life just like the rest of her playthings. Still, the characters appear to consider it as a threat intending to supplant them, which it probably is. Woody's Return: Unanswered Questions from Toy Story 4 One thing the teaser doesn't touch on is why Woody is returned with his friends in Bonnie's room. The end of Toy Story 4 depicted him embark on a new adventure with the shepherdess (Annie Potts), journeying with a carnival and helping prize toys find good homes. Surely, the filmmakers will address the aftermath of Toy Story 4 in the movie. Witnessing him show up in Bonnie's room without warning is somewhat puzzling, though. It also makes us wonder whether his partner will have come back with Woody. And where is Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves)? Connections from the Previous Film At the very least, some elements are carrying over from the earlier movie. The final act Woody did before departing for his fresh path was hand over his sheriff badge to the cowgirl (the voice actor), leaving her as the leader of Bonnie's bedroom. The clip shows the badge pinned to her shirt. It is hoped she is remains the key figure among the group. Toy Story 5 arrives in theaters on the scheduled date.
