NSW police revealed they've exposed an global satanic child exploitation content network and charged four Australian men for their alleged participation.
Investigation Details
Investigators from the special victims unit indicated that as part of Strike Force Constantine, an investigation into the online circulation of child exploitation content involving ritualistic elements, they dismantled a Sydney-located organization.
Police alleged the group was actively engaged in possessing, sharing and facilitating this material through a online platform that was "administered internationally".
Police Operations
Officers, accompanied by the tactical unit, carried out 6 search warrants in the Waterloo area, Ultimo district and Malabar on Thursday early hours the previous week.
- In the Waterloo location, police detained a 26-year-old man who they claimed played a "leading role" in the group.
- The man was accused with numerous offences including possession of child abuse material, distributing abusive material, and disseminating and possessing bestiality material.
- He was refused bail to face court proceedings last Friday.
Further Detentions
At a unit block in Malabar, detectives took into custody three men aged 46, forty-two and 39.
They were also accused with possession of child abuse material and additional offenses.
The four individuals are due to return to the judicial system at a future time.
