Details of the Serious Charges Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous acts of sexual assault – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021. A deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Investigation The charges follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
