Together with the BR addition, Season 1 is also kicking off. It brings a fresh location, a fresh game type, and new weapons. Additionally, this new sector is making its debut. An included trailer will go live at release, providing fans a glimpse of what's to come.

Complimentary Structure Enables Redsec Open to Any Player

Possibly the biggest news is that this new experience will be complimentary. Similar to other titles, you don't have to purchase the base game to join in. Several players have already tested alpha versions of the mode. These tests were held in Battlefield Labs, which the team described as their biggest player partnership initiative.

Despite being a critic earlier, I'm completely a fan of the battle royale since trying it.

Such early feedback from testers have been extremely encouraging. Of course, the experience may have changed over the past few weeks in terms of game balance and speed. Still, early signs are strong that the battle royale could be a genuine alternative to established offerings. Some are wishing that the top weapons from the original Battlefield 6 will also apply in the new mode.
